Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our production team at AEP Engineering. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, welding both aluminium and steel components for our specialized vehicles and accessories. As a Welder at AEP Engineering, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our projects and be part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on aluminium and steel materials according to project specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Interpret technical drawings and welding plans to ensure accurate assembly.
- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in welding aluminium and steel.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices.
- Welding certification(s) is a plus but not required.
